The Making of Emily Jane

A copy of the film made by the late Jack Eley in the early 1980s about the Bronte Children was requested by Mr Pat Kelly. His daughter Vanessa, was one of the actresses taking part. Mr Gordon Riley, a past member of Mercury Movie Makers, filmed the process of making this film. The films, taken in 16mm film had been transposed, first to VHS and later to DVD. Gordon had kindly made a copy for us to show. Both films were shown at our meeting on 9th May 2012 and a copy on DVD was presented to Mr Kelly at the end of the showing.
